On a sunny Sunday noon, May 18, volunteers at our 2014 A Passage to China gathered at the lovely home of Winnie and Scott Crosbie to celebrate our success and camaraderie.  Winnie and Scott were gracious and tireless hosts. Winnie took charge of the chicken wings on the grill and the turkey in the oven, while Scott led tours of his curio collections, especially of musical instruments, throughout the house.  He particularly enjoyed cranking up his player piano and to play jaunty tunes that invited dancing.  Children of volunteers gravitated to the large lawn outside the house and had a wonderful time romping on the grass.  Many grown-ups joined them to enjoy the fresh spring air and quiet surroundings.  Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to relax and chat, with no responsibilities in sight!
